DAT Mains: Studio Test

•         Question’s types – To create a 3D Design about given subject

•         Exam Schedule  - May-June

•         Process – It is Organized offline at NID Ahmedabad, It includes personal interview with portfolio.

•         Question’s types – Objective and subjective

•         Exam Schedule  - January

•         Process – It is Organized offline at exam centers in all over India.

DAT Mains: Situation Test

•         Total Marks  - 100

•         Time – 3 Hours

•         Question’s types – To create a 3D Design about given subject

•         Exam Schedule  - May

•         Process – It was Organized offline at NID Ahmedabad before 2022 but in NID Studio test 2022 were organized at exam centers in all over India. It includes personal interview with portfolio.


      Note* : NIFT examines the creativity, observation skills,  communication skills, fashion design knowledge and academic values of students.


(4) Information for  UCEED- Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design  ( IIT Bombay) 

Exam Pattern & Schedule : UCEED conducts the exam in 2 parts:

Part A- Language of Question Paper- English

•         Total Marks  - 240 Marks

•         Time – 2 Hours  30 Minutes

•         Question’s types – Three sections -

 Section 1 : Numerical Answer Type (18 questions, 4 marks for each)

Section 2 : Multiple Selective Questions ( 4 Marks each)

Section 3 : Multiple Choice Questions (32 Questions, 3 Marks each)

Part B- Sketch / drawing 

  •       Total Marks- 60
  •      Time - 30 Minutes
  •      Only  one question to draw an idea or a sketch 

•         Exam Schedule  - January

•         Process – It is Organized offline at exam centers in all over India.

Note* : IIT- UCEED examines the creativity, observation skills, technical skills, communication skills, and academic values of students.


(4) Information for  CEED-  Common Entrance Exam for Design  ( IIT Bombay) 

Exam Pattern & Schedule : CEED conducts the exam in 2 parts:

Part A- 41 Questions

•         Total Marks  - 240 Marks

•         Time – 2 Hours  30 Minutes

•         Question’s types – Objective type questions (MCQ, MSQ, & NAT) and design aptitude type questions.

Language of Question Paper- English

If you  will be short listed by submission of part A question paper for CEED then you will be allowed to attempt Part B.

Part B- Sketch / drawing 

  •       Total Marks- 60
  •      Time - 30 Minutes

  •         Exam Schedule  - January

•         Process – It is Organized offline at exam centers in all over India.
