Materials required  - Mechanical Pencil 0.7 mm with 2B refill/leads  or normal HB and 2B pencil ( Stadtler or Art Line brand), sketch book or blank papers, Stadtler's color pencil set minimum 24 shades, one spiral note book (blank page), A3 size card board or exam board with clip and more materials may be required after first month of NID Coaching.

A.       NID (National Institute for design) : In NID you can choose one of following :

                                     Ceramic and Glass Design, Furniture and Interior Design, Film and Video Communication, Graphic Design, Product Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Strategic Design Management, New Media Design, Photography Design, Toy and Game Design, Transportation and Automobile Design, Design for Retail Experience, Digital Game Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Universal Design

B.      NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology): You can choose one of following :

Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Fashion Communication, Apparel Production

One more important thing : You can do these all above courses in B.Des (Bachelor of Design) or M.Des (Master of Design).

DAT Mains: Studio Test

•         Time – 3 Hours

•         Question’s types – To create a 3D Design about given subject

•         Exam Schedule  - May-June

•         Process – It is Organized offline at NID Ahmedabad, It includes personal interview with portfolio.
